Maren Giersiepen studied Psychology with a focus on neuroscience and clinical psychology at Maastricht University (B.Sc.) and Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf (M.Sc.). For her Master’s thesis on the relevance of offender-related characteristics during risk assessment of sexual offenders she collaborated with the Department of Forensic Psychiatry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. Using a combination of behavioral methods and EEG, she now aims to investigate the relation between sense of agency, affective feedback processing and action regulation.
