‘Julia Niederlechner studied chemistry, biology and psychology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Since 2024, she has been working on her doctorate in psychology in the field of cognitive and affective giftedness research under the supervision of Prof Sarah Hofer. As part of her dissertation, she cooperates closely with the Gifted Psychology Counselling Centre at LMU and is dedicated to the investigation of intelligence profiles of highly gifted children.
Her research focuses on the systematic analysis and categorisation of cognitive and psychosocial patterns of gifted children using multidimensional variable models. The aim is to develop evidence-based approaches to identify the individual challenges and resources of this target group and to derive differentiated intervention strategies.’
