Teaching Practice Project: Business Analytics

Business Analytics"How can we use our existing data to drive change and innovation?"

Sector: Automotive industry

Topic: Business analytics

Task:

A German automotive company wants to make more use of HR data and company key figures to derive measures. How good is the internal data really? How can "hard" key figures and "soft" data (employee perceptions) be combined? How do you identify the most important drivers for change and innovation?

Realisation:

Based on extensive literature research (including 17 meta-analyses), a scientifically sound model of innovation and change readiness was created for the company. Exemplary questions and possible company-specific measures were derived for the most important drivers. A business analytics guideline with an associated toolbox should make it easier for the company to assess the quality of its own data, carry out further analyses and derive appropriate measures.
