Julia Haager studied education, psychology and sociology at the LMU Munich. She then did her doctorate in psychology and education at the LMU Munich. As a post-doc she worked at the Chair of Educational Psychology and Media Psychology at the University of Regensburg. In her work at the universities, she taught bachelor and master students in psychology as well as teacher students. In addition to her scientific work, she gained experience as a teacher for pedagogy and psychology at technical college and as a substitute teacher at primary school. In her research, Ms. Haager deals with the topics of creativity, emotion, habit and the collaboration between theory and practice, most recently in the context of institutionalized education.
