  • Shortbio:

Birgitta Kopp studied German language and psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU). In 2005 she obtained a doctoral degree in psychology from the LMU. In 2011 she received the venia legendi for Education and Educational Psychology at the LMU. From 2014 to 2015 she was associate professor (ad interim) for psychology with focus on pedagogical psychology at the University of Augsburg. From 2015 to 2016 she was associate professor (ad interim) for Teaching and Learning with Media at the Bundeswehr University, Munich. Since July 2020 she is professor at the LMU. She offers several courses for bachelor and master students in educational science, and in psychology, and for teacher students. Her research interests are self-regulated digital learning, inquiry and collaborative learning, blended learning, design of learning environments, support methods for teaching and learning, and values education.
